Major League Pickleball (MLP) is dialing up its reach for the 2025 season, announcing new local media partnerships that will bring top-tier pickleball directly to fans in key team markets across the United States.
In collaboration with Gray Media, MLP is rolling out expanded broadcast coverage for four popular franchises—Atlanta Bouncers, Carolina Hogs, Columbus Sliders, and St. Louis Shock. Matches will air on local sports networks beginning with MLP Orlando (April 24–27) and continuing through MLP Columbus (May 1–4), providing fans with more ways to tune in, support their hometown heroes, and experience the energy of team-based pro pickleball.
Team-by-Team Coverage Breakdown
Each market will receive tailored broadcast access on its local network, featuring marquee matchups and in-market rivalry games:
Atlanta Bouncers will air on Peachtree Sports Network
Carolina Hogs coverage lands on the Palmetto Entertainment and Sports Network
Columbus Sliders matches will be available via the Rock Entertainment Sports Network
St. Louis Shock will feature on Matrix Midwest
Fans can catch the Bouncers face off against the Chicago Slice and Columbus Sliders, watch the Hogs clash with defending champs Dallas Flash, or tune in as the Sliders host the Shock in one of the most anticipated matchups of the early season.
A Strategic Step For National Growth
With over 20 million players across the country, pickleball is more than a trend—it’s become a nationwide phenomenon. And MLP is leading the charge, not just with its innovative team format, but also by ensuring fans have easier access to the game they love.
“Growth in pickleball has been incredible over the past few years,” said Samin Odhwani, Chief Strategy Officer at the United Pickleball Association. “We’re thrilled to expand our reach through these regional partnerships and bring MLP to local communities where team pride runs deep.”
This localized media approach complements MLP’s broader distribution strategy, including coverage on Pickleballtv and the Pickleballtv App, offering fans a mix of national and regional viewing options.
Looking Ahead
With MLP’s 2025 season already building momentum, these local broadcast agreements mark a major milestone in making pro pickleball more accessible to everyday fans. Full match schedules and additional coverage details will be released approximately 30 days prior to each event. Local listings will also provide up-to-date information for viewers in each market.
